Tim DeRosa, Founder and President of Business Benefits, Inc., has been in the insurance profession since 1981. Mr. DeRosa began his career as an agent with New York Life and has since amassed contractual relationships with over 35 insurance companies.
Mr. DeRosa is a member of the Society of Financial Service Processionals, The Association of Health Insurance Agents, The National Association of Health Underwriters, Health Insurance Association of America, Southern Nevada Estate Planning Council, & is a past recipient of the National Quality Award. Mr. DeRosa is also a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table.
Mr. DeRosa has qualified to receive the prestigious Golden Eagle Award from the National Association of Health Underwriters. The Golden Eagle Award is the highest recognition bestowed upon an individual who has demonstrated professional excellence in the sale of health and disability income insurance.
Mr.. DeRosa represents the Clark County School District Administrators and has had extensive consulting experience with and for the Clark County School District during its arbitration with the Support staff union regarding the ongoing viability of its self funded benefits plan. This experience uniquely positioned Mr. DeRosa to serve as the Co-Chair of the Nevada Legislative Commissions Committee to Study the Public Employees Benefit Program in 2004 and 2005.
Currently licensed to sell Life and Health Insurance in sixteen states and the District of Columbia, Mr. DeRosa has a unique view of the ever-changing insurance market and regulatory issues. Business benefits design, negotiations, and implementation for clientele have been focal points for Mr. DeRosa throughout his career.
Deborah Stanberry has been a Las Vegas resident for over 25 years, and a local graduate of Basic High School. Deborah continued her education by completing courses at Canterbury Career Schools in Office Management, computer applications and accounting. She is also licensed to sell Life and Health insurance in the state of Nevada.
Prior to joining Business Benefits, Inc. Deborah was an Internal Auditor for Station Casinos for four years. Deborah monitored gaming personnel, acquired a thorough familiarity of gaming regulations and created daily reports of the company’s earnings. Deborah is now applying those skills to her position with Business Benefits, Inc. in reviewing and editing all detailed analytical spreadsheet comparisons before presentation.
Deborah Stanberry joined Business Benefits, Inc. in 1998 as a benefits analyst where she was responsible for creating detailed comparative spreadsheets for our clientele at their renewal.
Deborah continues to act as a Benefits Analysis Supervisor responsible for reviewing all work performed by the Benefits Analyst.
Since launching her career with Business Benefits, Inc. Deborah has grown with our company and is now our Office Manager. Included in her responsibilities, is team management, accounting and payroll, and reviewing all benefits proposals prior to release.
In addition to these responsibilities, Deborah is also the Account Manager for some of our most important clients. We rely on Deborah’s continued diligence and ongoing dedication to these important people
Shannon Mullis-Caul brings over 10 years of experience in the insurance profession. Shannon manages several client accounts providing them with a process that manages all activities associated with their employee benefit programs. Key to her role is increased value and decreased cost.
Shannon is dedicated to serving all of your health and life insurance needs. Shannon has a strong commitment to each client to help them find the best solutions to their benefits issues. Shannon is committed to deliver to our clients benefits compliance, quality, and cost controls. In addition, Shannon also provides advice and implementation for individual major medical and short-term medical plans.
Shannon is originally from North Carolina where she graduated from the University of North Carolina. She is also an active member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Professionals.
Nathan Dee has been a group benefits specialist and property & casualty manager with Business Benefits since 2006. In his position, Nathan is responsible for prospecting, soliciting, negotiating and selling new life and health benefits and commercial accounts to employer groups, as well as providing ongoing counseling and marketing to existing clients of the agency.
Nathan has worked with insurance carriers in various capacities for the past 7 years. Before Business Benefits, he worked with RxAmerica, a pharmacy benefits manager, where he designed Medicare part D prescription programs and was responsible for retention of key clients..
Nathan is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), and is licensed in all lines of Life/Health & Property/Casualty in Nevada.
Dionne Alaga is originally from Toronto Canada, and has resided in Las Vegas for more than 10 years. Dionne is a graduate of Southern Nevada Vocational Tech Center, where she completed a Certified Nursing Program. She went on to complete Health Information Technology courses at College of Southern Nevada
Dionne worked for Nevadacare/Summerlin Life & Health as Benefit Document Specialist, handling employee benefit packets and ID cards.
As group sales assistant for Business Benefits Inc., Dionne works with insurance carriers to obtain quotes used to create a comparative analysis of both benefits and pricing. This process is key to creating a proposal that is objective and easily understood. Our clientele enjoy the ability to make informed decisions based on this report.
Jennifer R. Vitello is originally from Northern Indiana. She transferred to Las Vegas to join her husband who serves as an active duty member of the United States Air Force.
Jennifer obtained her property and casualty license in 2008 and has since taken on the responsibility managing the property and casualty book of business. She is highly dedicated to each of her clients, establishing new relationships, she also handles the billing, servicing of policies. Jennifer’s direct focus is maintaining and developing relationships with the underwriters insuring best outcomes for all of our commercial and personal lines clientele.
Jennifer brings more than 5 years experience as an office professional. She demonstrates the ability to perform as a team player. She exercises great work ethics and is extremely detail oriented.
Prior to achievements at Business Benefits, Inc. Jennifer worked as an Office Manager and Bookkeeper for Stickler Mechanical Contractors, Inc. for five years. She handled the payroll, accounting and the human resources department for a small family owned business in her hometown of South Bend, Indiana.
Jennifer is quick to mention her favorite aspect of her job, “The people,”
